A Short Review on all Girth Procedures Available around the World
1. Dermal Fat Graft gives the largest girth augmentation, 1.5-2.5 inches in circumference. This gives the quickest recovery for full sensation due to the graft having nerves and vessels. You will have a donor scar either on your lower back, under the creases of your butt (like I have) or abdomen for select patients. I had this penile girth method done on 10/1/07. 2. Penile AlloDerm is not performed in the surgeons office anymore. It is a dead tissue graft with a potentially uneven thickness on 4 x 7 pieces that requires additional stitching to make it available for different penis sizes augmentations; these stitches might be noticeable under the skin of the shaft of the penis. The maximum potential augmentation is about .75 inch in circumference. We have seen trends of fiberosis and erect length shortening.
3. BellaDerm is our most popular girth procedure. Penile Belladerm is a custom made graft the surgeon purchases from the BellaDerm Company. It is live donor tissue just like a Dermal Graft, but it doesn't have nerves or vessels so it's a longer recovery for full penis sensation (up to 6 months); the thickness of the graft has a maximum augmentation of up to 1", but there is no scar to harvest the graft from. The graft would be custom made (unlike alloderm) to your pre surgical penis measurements. With only the pubic incision being made, the recovery time is the fastest. Patients can expect little to no bruising the next day after this penis surgery. They can start hand stretching in two weeks and use penis weights in three weeks and intercourse as well.
4. Free Fat Transfer is the least expensive girth procedure on the market. I've tried it 3 times before I had the Triple Augmentation with Dermal Grafts (my own tissue). The fat transfer absorbed the first time but the second and third time clumped up really badly. It cost a lot of money having this removed. On maxyoursize.com you will see many unhappy fat transfer patients. I never recommend it to anyone even though the surgeons websites who performed it on me says the fat absorbing and uneveness doesn't happy anymore. It's a lie. Other names for it is penile fat injection and fft. I get a few calls a week from men who had terrible results, but I hope my website will save men from going that route before it's too late.
5. The Silicone Implant is performed by only one U.S. surgeon. I had many patients call me who have/had complications after this quick procedure, so I know all about the risk trend. Penile Silicone Implant has a very unnatural feeling and the highest chance of rejection and removal. If you don't mind taking the chance the implant gives the thickest possible girth and the shortest surgery time. The problem is they have so much girth that it morphs the head and causes blood flow restrictions, thus needing the graft to be removal. Another issue is erect length retraction as the implant doesn't stretch like a graft and doesn't allow the inner penis to extend when erect. The surgeon might say that the implant will stretch itself but this isn't true. You need a minimal of 3 lbs of weight tension to see results.
Once again I am 100% happy with the Dermal Graft and recommend this to everyone if they are a candidate for it. The Belladerm Graft however is a procedure I would choose if it was available when I was debating on what to have done.
