How To Book Your Trip
The surgeon recommends if you are coming from out of town to fly to the San Diego, California airport a day before your Phalloplasty procedure or earlier if you choose. We recommend that you stay in the La Jolla, CA area (located 15 minutes north of the airport). This way you are close to your penile surgeon's office. The day before your procedure you will meet with the cosmetic phalloplasty surgeon at his office. He will give you a personal consultation/physical if you haven't had one prior from him, give you knowledge of your upcoming procedure and answer any question’s you might have. Then the next morning the Phalloplasty surgeon will personally transport for your procedure. Then he will drop you off at your hotel. He did the same for me and it was a pleasure learning from him! The morning after surgery you will come back to his office. Then he will teach you how to change your bandages. He will see you each day after your procedure until you go home. We recommend if you are just getting Penis Lengthening Surgery , then you should stay 1-2 night after surgery. If you are having a Penile Reconstruction Surgery and/or Triple Augmentation Surgery, then we recommend staying 3-7 days minimum after surgery. For international patients the triple length might extend an extra few days.
Please be sure to either bring the following with you or purchase it in San Diego. Or you can purchase these supplies at the surgery center the same day of your procedure including medications.
You will need to apply the following until the incisions are fully healed;
Betadine - Apply a few times daily when changing the bandages (wrap).
Hydrogen Peroxide - Apply a few times daily the same time as Betadine.
The surgeon will teach you how to put on the wrap. You will do this with the Triple Augmentation as estimated three weeks after your procedure.
Elasto Tape - Apply a few times daily first
Co-Wrap - Apply a few times daily after Elasto Tape
Surgical Padding - Put Betadine and Hydrogen Peroxide on Dermal Graft Incision site. Then put the surgical padding on the incision site twice a day.
